Emergency REpair
Emergency repair is just what it sounds like. In the unlikely event when a pothole does occur, our emergency response team will receive a high priority notification to their mobile device. This notification gives the rapid response team valuable information as to where, when, and how to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. When the response team arrives on site, whether you choose to be present or not, they will test the effected area and determine the best course of action. Continuous cracks are the most basic form of asphalt repair. This type of gap can take many forms, such as a never-ending crevice, running the entire length of your pavement surface. By leaving this type of crack open and unattended, water may seep in and erode the sub-base, or even worse freeze and expand the crack even wider. Another type of crack that can compromised your pavement structure are concentrated cracks. These types of cracks are usually in an isolated area, where there is poor drainage, a weak foundation, and heavy traffic. A common misconception about this type of crack is the entire pavement surface, if left unattended, would require a total reconstruction. The truth is, most concentrated cracks are confined to a specific area, allowing the Pothole Team to make a quick and cost effective repair. joint cracks
Joint cracks occur when a previously completed asphalt project meets a newly constructed parking space, roadway, or a driveway addition. This divide is usually defined by a clean straight break that almost separates the two surfaces. The most common reasons for these separations are, ground erosion, heavy traffic use, and poor adhesion of the two surfaces. The maintenance schedule for these types of separations should be more frequent, due to the nature of the joint. Based on Mr. Pothole’s 35 years of experience, we recommend applying this type of service at least once a year. Because this repair is so frequent, the cost is very minimal and the curing time is pretty quick, usually within hours of the application.
